Professional care for cats and rabbits
Sheridan's Pet Sitting Services
Hi there! I'm Sheridan, a recent graduate of UC Berkeley and an animal welfare professional based in Oakland. I've fostered dozens of rabbits over the years, specializing in behavioral and medical cases. I've also fostered kittens and dogs, and I have professional experience working for House Rabbit Society and Oakland Animal Services. I can't wait to talk about how I can give your pet the quality care they deserve!

Expert Care You Can Trust
As a bunmom, I know how important finding a reliable, experienced sitter is. Rabbits are experts at hiding when they aren't feeling well, and you deserve a sitter that can recognize signs of illness before they become life-threatening. I am confident in administering GI-stasis protocol (taking temperature and providing oral pain medication, subcutaneous fluids, and heat). For both cats and rabbits, I will ask for your preferred vet's information before you leave and create a plan for emergency care so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
My Services
Drop-in Pet Sitting
I come by your home up to two times per day to care for your pet. I will feed, clean, and administer medications following your care instructions. I am happy to send photos and updates on how your pet is doing while you're away! Pricing is $35 for one daily visit and $60 for two daily visits. An additional travel stipend may apply.
Overnight Pet/House Sitting
I stay at your home and keep your pet company overnight. I will follow your pet's daily care routine and take care of any house sitting tasks you may need while you're away (watering plants, checking for mail, etc.) Pricing is $100 per day. An additional travel stipend may apply.
Rabbit Boarding
Based on availability, I offer boarding services at my home for rabbits only. I will supply daily fresh greens and will follow your rabbit's daily care routine. Your rabbit will stay in a 4x4' exercise pen in a quiet, one adult household. Rabbits must have up-to-date RHDV2 vaccinations. Pricing is $75 per day and includes the cost of fresh greens.
Rabbit Bonding ("Bunnymoon")
Do you need help bonding your rabbits? Rabbits require a neutral territory to successfully bond, and that isn't always possible at home. Your rabbits will go through the expert-recommended bonding process: living in side-by-side exercise pens in a neutral territory to get familiar with one another and go on daily supervised "dates." Bunnymoon boarding is considered on a case-by-case basis and does not guarantee the rabbits will become bonded. Some rabbits may never become bonded and are simply incompatible or prefer to live solo, and that's ok! Although I will do my best to minimize it, please be aware there is a risk of injury to the rabbits as scuffles are common in the bonding process. It is important for the rabbit owner to continue the bonding process at home after the bunnymoon. Rabbits must have up-to-date RHDV2 vaccinations. Pricing is $100 per day, and a week-long stay is recommended. A successful outcome is not guaranteed, but a bunnymoon will provide insight if a bond may or may not be possible.
Rabbit Grooming
While I care for your rabbit, I am happy to add on grooming services upon request. Grooming services include gentle brushing ($10), nail trims ($15), and anal gland cleaning ($15). You can choose one or multiple services. Depending on availability, I may be able to groom your rabbit outside of my regular pet-sitting services on a case-by-case basis. An additional travel stipend may apply.
